Sweet And Sour Shrimp

This delicious recipe contains shrimp, egg, pineapple, tomato sauce, and green onion. It’s got a great taste and satisfies both craving for sweet and sour pork.
Ingredients -
1 Pound Shrimp
1 Egg
Sea Salt
Corn Flour
Sesame Oil
2 Slices Pineapple
2 Tablespoons Vinegar
1-1/2 Tablespoons Sugar
1/2 Tablespoon Tomato Sauce
1 Dessert spoon Corn Flour
1-1/2 Teaspoons Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Brandy
2 Ounces Green Onions, finely chopped
Pinch Ground Green Ginger
Vegetable Oil
1/2 Pint Water
Sea Salt
 
Preparation:

1. Season the shrimp with salt.

2. Dip the shrimp into the beaten egg, then into corn flour (allowing 2 oz. for this operation) and deep fry in lard or oil.

3. The shrimp is cooked when it turns pink.

4. Dice the pineapple and chop them finely.

5. Fry the pineapple in a very little oil sprinkled with ginger.

6. Mix the vinegar, sugar, tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon corn flour, 1-1/2 teaspoons soy sauce and brandy together.

7. Stir and blend in the water and add mixture to the fried pineapple.

8. Simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring all the time.

9. If the sauce becomes too thick, add a little more water.

10. At the last moment, add chopped spring onions and pour this sauce over the shrimp.
