Oriental Stir Fry Scallops

Sautéed sea scallops with chopped leeks, water chestnuts, sliced mushrooms, snow peas, bamboo shoots and soy sauce.

Ingredients -
8 ounces Sea Scallops
1/2 cup Leeks
1/3 cup Water Chestnuts
1-1/2 cups Mushrooms, sliced
1-1/3 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 cup Snow Peas
3/4 cup Bamboo Sprouts
2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
 
Preparation:

1. Sauté all the oriental vegetables until tender in olive oil over medium heat.

2. Add scallops to vegetables and cook until done.

3. While cooking, add the soy sauce. Serve while hot.

Steamed rice takes longer to do than boiling rice. The result is a rice that is looser in texture. Steamed rice cannot burn.
